Lakme Fruit Moisture Skin Renewal night Cream

Hello ladies,
I am not quite a night-cream person, since I have too oily a skin to be worrying about applying a moisturizer on top of that..(huh!..that would be too much oil). But then I read somewhere that night creams are applicable to all skin types, since it provides that extra nutrients missing from your skin.Good thing!! I always wanted to try one.
So today I have got Lakme Fruit moisture Skin renewal Night Cream for review, honestly I bought it for the fruit part,Its dominating of 3 fruit ingredients Kiwi, strawberry and passion fruit, ahh smells fruity too…

Price: Rs.160 for 50g
My Take On The Product : It’s a light pink color semi thick cream. Firstly I thought that it would be too oily for my skin seeing the texture, but it worked just fine.It absorbs quickly into the skin on application.leaving no residue. I cannot say anything about the renewal part because it didn’t show any, yeah the skin was softer the morning after. But no visible changes.Just an average night moisturizer. I like this night cream, since it suits my skin and makes them softer.and I m happy with that.

Positives: Very light-weight cream
             Suits oily skin
             Did not cause break-out
Negatives: Strong fragrance for a face cream
              Tub-packaging(unhygienic)

Overall: A decent Night cream for oily skins.makes skin softer.Would not suit very dry skin.my search for my favorite night cream continues....:(
Take care.See you in next post..

Avon Naturals Pomegranate and Mango Moisturizing Shakes Body Lotion

Hello all..

I recently got loads of stuff from the Avon rep, and  surprisingly  in my every haul i stock up  at least  one 'body lotion'. though i don't use them much in the summer i like to stock them for the winter (like the squirrels stock up foods before hibernating...blahh..) carrying on..I got the pomegranate and mango one..u get it in one of those milk shake bottles, pretty cute packaging.

(bdw that pringles pack is empty ;))

Packaging: see-through bottle with a flip cap.
Smell : strong artificial smell of mango. Couldn't  find      pomegranate.
Price : Rs.199/- for 150 ml (got it for Rs.129 i guess)
Texture :  light  water-based lotion

My Take on the Product :A light pink colored liquid.Spreads on  really  nicely on the body. In fact it is so light it immediately soaks in,leaving a smooth feeling. But let me say here i have somewhat dry hands, and i have to apply every  4hr in summer. So its pretty OK for using in the winter.I am going to keep it as a back up lotion(u know emergency need).

Overall : An average lotion for the summer. One bottle lasts you long. But It will  disappoint people with dry skin.

Take care guys, see you in next post..

Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear

hello girls..
today i will be reviewing about a anti tan product which have gained a lot of raving among other  blogger and many of my girl mates. Its "Nature's Essence Lacto Tan Clear" So to find out how it fares on my super-tanned-over-the-year oily skin,I bought it 2 weeks ago, used it for a whole week and finally ready with a review. Bad or Good ,lets read out !

So this is basically a pearly white cream mask which spreads really smooth on the skin.on the first application my eyes started to sting..but it wears off.It gives a really cooling sensation on application..which is quite relaxing during the summer when you come back after a long day.

Texture : Smooth creamy,pearly white
fragrance: strong herbal massage cream  fragrance, all NE products have strong  fragrances. But my nose can bear.
Price : Rs.85 for 40g jar

My Take On The Product: after buying it from a local beauty store..i hurried home excitedly to try out the product. I tan severely on the face (but not the neck).mine is a kind of tan that's been accumulating year after year and nothing seems to work(i mean home remedies). So after applying the cream mask..it takes about 10 mins to dry.after which you wash off with water.after washing off..believe me!!about 60% of the tan was removed, and it also mattified my super oily skin. But sadly the effects stayed for 1 day on my skin,so you can say that its those product with temporary effects. Now i use it only before going out somewhere, and gives a really nice matte effect.

Overalla decent product for the price,Though the ingredients are not all natural,as you can say by the effect, but i don't mind since i am not using it regularly(also because, it  didn't  break me out).Give it a try if u are in a hurry to get fast results.

Take care, see you in next post. :-)
